Truth is our life gestalt.
The parts that we unite to form our pictures of the world will never reach the full embodiment of Truth. We will always be at least a few drops shy of a full glass. And in a world where many of us view the glass as half full or half empty, we are already dealing with only half the picture, so the integrity of each part matters.
I have been hearing a rather empty argument lately that nobody really knows what Truth is anymore, or that Truth is relative. With our lives ambushed by misguided COVID policies and senseless warmongering, it feels like lies and confusions are constantly thrust upon us, so this stance can seem reasonable. Still, I call bullshit!
We are absolutely capable of sorting fact from fiction. We are intelligent and intuitive beings! In fact, we were brilliantly designed to face the challenges of our time and to follow the trail of Truth and Love toward higher expectations and understandings.
Resonant Chord of Truth
Each of us has a resonant chord within us that is already aligned with Truth. Simply put, we need to raise the importance of this resonance in our lives. This takes a bit of patience and a sense of humility. As well as humor! Truth is rooted in that power greater than ourselves—that which we call God, The Divine, Universe, Source—a power beyond ourselves yet one that each of us is directly connected to.
We can consciously align with this power through prayer, meditation, contemplation, sound, movement, laughter—activities that enhance our resonant chords with The Divine. That is all it takes for us to establish stronger connections with what is true in the world.
Each of us is exactly where we need to be in regard to the Truth that is afforded us; it is just a matter of holding ourselves accountable and learning to trust our intuitive and intellectual insights. It sounds so simple. Yet, we are constantly bombarded with ill influences and dense pressures that steer us off course and that plant seeds of doubt that work against the rightful information we collect.
Persuasions of Truth
We can separate fact from fiction by trusting our observations. Lies are falsehoods and therefore temporary. A lie can survive only in the moment. It must constantly be fed, encouraged or exalted in order to exist. And the more toxic the lie, the more invested the liar must be in maintaining it because Truth always finds a way to be revealed.
On the brighter side of contrary, Truth occupies all time and space. Truth is always present—it enters a room before us and stays long after we have gone (much like patchouli oil and the 60’s). We can recognize Truth winking at us from within a lie as a warning not to get drawn in. This is our intuition resonating with Truth. When we acknowledge this intuition, it becomes common sense, and we are bridging the gap between our intellectual and intuitive responses.
As we know, not all sources of Truth are created equal. Yet, even the lesser sources are valid. Truth exists in everything. Even within a lie, Truth is present in fragmented form. In fact, the most convincing lies are based on partial truths. We need to trust ourselves to follow a trail of truth to better sources. This process strengthens our intuitive responses, which often encourage us to pause.
To take in the information but not rely on it solely.
Truth always occupies a greater picture, and no one person or association has a monopoly on Truth; although, some hold Truth more accurately than others and at different times.
Misguided Censorship
With that said, it is wise to be leery of widescale censorship solutions. Censorship insists that we depart from experiences that strengthen our intuitive connections to Truth by urging us instead to trust human authority rather than our intuitive and intellectual skills.
Government censorship treats us as dumbed-down citizens rather than as adults with critical thinking skills. And we all deserve to be at that place where our critical thinking muscles are so fine tuned that we can sit back and laugh at misinformation. If, indeed, our elected officials and leading influencers are honest and transparent, than the facts they share will stand just fine on their own.
When we follow a trail of truth to brighter sources, we strengthen our intuitive skills and build up our capacities for creative discovery. There is a resonant component here involving light and sound that once again brings up our connections with The Divine. Light and sound persuade everything, and we have light and sound within us that serve as inner resources that resonate with The Divine. We are meant to use our inner resources to rightfully persuade our surroundings. However, due to the advance of technology into the home along with behavioral algorithms that target individuals with messaging, we are dealing with an omnipresent threat against our genuine well-being and our abilities to separate out accurate information from misleading messaging. So this is a fantastic time to better understand our connections with Truth and to strengthen our persuasions in the world so that we can be our own barriers against misinformation.
Truth and Self-Determination
With an emphasis on American Democracy and our social and political spheres, what one considers as truth is a matter of one’s connection to Source.
A majority of Americans used to connect a healthy democracy with the right to self-governance and with respect to genuinely contributing to our communities. Lately, however, misguided influencers are desperately pushing the impression that a good democracy is one that manages a population regardless of self-determination and despite our personal relationships with higher guidance.
Self-determination grants us the integrity and accountability we need to advance toward our goals. In the everyday, this speaks to all aspects of our lives, from learning how to walk to building a stronger and healthier nation. For the spiritually inclined, self-determination offers a path to broader and brighter connections with the higher worlds. The few mystics I am familiar with support a person’s right to self-determination not only at a fundamental level, but also as a requirement for personal growth. In fact, the founding of American Democracy is seen in esoteric studies as guided by Divine Influences and as a platform upon which higher expectations are held for a nation of people.
As we know, American Democracy is a rather exceptional platform of Equality and Freedom. Yet, it is only as strong as the people who influence it. So it is time to take a look at our public influencers and ask a few important questions.
In today’s political climate, which, like it or not is all of ours to own, who among our elected leaders supports and upholds self-determination and personal accountability? Who is courageous in the face of a shame-oriented and spirit-denying progressive culture? Who outright rejects the oppression of our liberties and our divinely guided rights to truthful information? And who uses researchable facts to compel their arguments? Those are the people who deserve our support and attention.
On the flip side, who wants to surveil our lives and mandate solutions to problems that they helped create and have not yet been held accountable for? Who is gaslighting the American people to distrust what we see with our own eyes, what we hear with our own ears or what we otherwise know to be true? Who is acting like they have more authority over our futures than we have? Who is outright lying to us? Who has made a shit-ton of money behind the scenes while working as an elected official? Who is elevating divisive policies and rhetoric? Who supports the war machine? And, here is a new one—who is exploiting our spiritual sensitivities by elevating so-called thought crimes above actual crimes? Those are the people we need to steer clear of and, indeed, pull our loyalties and attentions away from.
As we align with Truth, we better resonate with the Wisdom and Beauty that Truth affords us and that steers us right. We begin to connect the dots to a greater picture, and life as an acknowledgement of Truth becomes clearer. A heartier and more expressive worldview becomes available to us; and regardless of where we stand, we hold a more solid foundation in our alignments with the truth of the matter. This is where we can have more heartfelt conversations that lead to stronger and healthier solutions.
Take care, Everyone <3
